About TexaSweet

TexaSweet Citrus Marketing, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas for the purpose of advertising and promoting the sale of fresh citrus fruit grown and produced in Texas.

TexaSweet is under contract to serve as the marketing and merchandising agency for the Texas Valley Citrus Committee which is the administrative committee established by the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States to assist the Secretary in the Administration of Marketing Order No. 906 for grapefruit and oranges grown and produced in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

Since 1966, TexaSweet has contracted with the Texas Valley Citrus Committee for the purpose of developing and executing the promotional programs for the domestic sale of fresh Texas grapefruit and oranges. The Marketing Program consists of Merchandising, Advertising and Public Relations activities conducted each season.
